We may have requests for specific content which we will reach out for in our Vendor group. If you have images you would like to share on the blog or social media, you can always share in that group, tag us on Instagram with the hashtag #vowsandvegas, or fill out this form.

If you have an entire wedding you think would be interesting to feature in our Real Weddings blogs, we have all that submission guidelines outlined below.

Featured Submissions

We want to feature real couples to show everyone the possibility and opportunity of their own Las Vegas wedding. And, honestly, we know you want to show off your kick ass wedding that you spent energy putting together.

We feature real weddings and elopements as our primary focus. We also will feature posed photo sessions, engagement sessions, and proposals. We occasionally will accept styled sessions. Feel free to submit them as well but priority will be given to real couples.

We do accept photo sessions as well as video highlights. We recommend collaborating as a team between photographers and videographers when putting together your submission so we can feature the full multi-media experience.

Submissions are currently OPEN

Our guidelines for submissions

  • The session must have taken place within the past 12 months
  • The session must have taken place in Las Vegas or within 200 miles
    • This does include Valley of Fire, the Grand Canyon, Boulder City, some cities in surrounding states such as Arizona, California, and Utah
    • If you are unsure if your wedding location qualifies but would like to submit a wedding feel free to do so and we will determine eligibility or contact us directly for an answer
  • We encourage sending weddings of all kinds to allow us to showcase a diverse range of representation and styles! There is no one size fits all weddings so the more we can share the better
  • We will not feature every single wedding submitted. We curate for high quality and diverse submissions. If we reject a submission it may be as simple as we are featuring something too similar or it does not fit within our guidelines. Please do not be offended and don’t let that keep you from submitting in the future!
  • You should expect up to 7 days to receive a response on your submission

Exclusivity

  • We will be prioritizing real and original weddings not featured elsewhere. However we are currently accepting fantastic weddings that have been previously published in other blogs or magazines. This guideline could change in the future:
    • If your wedding is featured in another blog or magazine, please let us know where and when
    • If your wedding is featured in another blog or magazine, make sure you do not have an active exclusivity clause with that publication that interferes in us publishing your wedding
    • If you are submitting to multiple blogs and magazines please let us know. If it is accepted elsewhere before we respond, especially if this publication requires exclusivity, let us know so we can discard your submission or hold off on a feature as to not compete with the other publication by releasing them too close to each other

Copyright and Model Release

  • Please get permission from all parties before submitting your feature. If your submission is selected to be featured, we will require the model release from the couple and copyright permission form from the copyright holder before we are able to go live. Without these your feature may be canceled if they are not received within a reasonable time frame.
  • If you are the bride, groom, or any vendor besides the photographer or videographer submitting the wedding, check your contract or contact the photographer first to confirm your license agreement allows for publication. The copyright holder, usually the photographer unless the client has purchased these rights, has the final say and we require permission from them to feature the wedding.
  • We also require permission by a signed model release from the couple to post the photos if they are visible and recognizable within the photos.

If you are the couple you may proceed to the MODEL RELEASE .

If you are the legal copyright holder of the photos or video you may proceed to the COPYRIGHT PERMISSION FORM.

Images and Video

  • 20 to 50 web ready images showcasing a variety of details from the wedding. Portraits, candid images, venue images, and details are all important to the story
  • A highlight wedding video no longer 5 minutes in length
  • Images and video should be linked via a drive service (such as google drive, one drive, dropbox, etc.) or an online gallery where we have access to download the images
  • Permissions from photographer, videographer, and the couple to publish images

Information

  • Couples names, date, and location
  • All vendor information available, the more the better so we can credit everyone
    • Venue, photographer, caterers, floral, dress, rings, etc.
  • Some information on the couple and inspiration for the wedding, any information that is important or will allow us to verbally tell a story to go with your images
